UPDATED 2026-03Summary
FitMyLLM is designed with privacy as the top priority. The core tool runs entirely in your browser with no data sent to our servers. We do not track, sell, or share your personal information.
What we collect
▸ Core tool · QuickStart, Find Models, Build for Model, Enterprise
Nothing. All calculations run in your browser. Your hardware specs, model selections, and results are never transmitted anywhere. No cookies, no analytics, no fingerprinting.
▸ Community features · Benchmarks, Reviews, Alerts
If you choose to sign in with GitHub or Google to submit benchmarks, reviews, or price alerts, we store:
- Your user ID from the authentication provider
- Your display name and avatar (from GitHub/Google)
- Content you submit (benchmarks, reviews, alert preferences)
This data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the EU). You can delete your submissions at any time.
▸ GPU detection · anonymous
When you visit the site, we detect your GPU model via WebGL (the same API your browser uses to render 3D graphics). We store only the GPU model name and a visit count — no user ID, no IP address, no personal information. This aggregate data helps us prioritize which GPUs to focus our benchmark coverage on.
▸ Analytics
We use PostHog (EU-hosted, on eu.i.posthog.com) to understand aggregate usage patterns — only after you accept the cookie notice on your first visit. PostHog sets cookies and captures anonymous pageviews and interactions. If you reject, no analytics cookies or scripts load. We also use Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and anonymous by default. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie preferences in the footer. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not track your hardware configuration
- We do not store your model recommendations
- We do not use tracking pixels or hidden trackers
- We do not share data with AI model providers
Local storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember:
- Your theme preference (dark/light mode)
- Whether you've used the full interface before (to skip the landing page)
This data stays in your browser and is never sent to any server. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
Third-party services

- GitHub OAuth — used for sign-in if you choose to authenticate
- Google OAuth — used for sign-in if you choose to authenticate
- PostHog (EU-hosted, consent-gated) — aggregate usage statistics

Each service has its own privacy policy. We minimize data shared with these services to what is strictly necessary.
